Our History

AABCD DANCE STUDIO has been established since 2001 and has been official with the city since 2014 by Bianca Cortinas and now Amber Roe. If you do not know what the meaning AABCD is, Bianca Cortinas made sure her kids and herself would be remembered through the title. The Letters represent her name and the name of each of her children. (Amber, Ariel, Bianca, Crystal and Don)

Bianca's children Crystal, Don and Amber started dancing in 1995 and performed all over San Antonio, from family weddings, competing in Recreation Centers, Downtown Market Square, opening up for a national concert, auditioning for TV plots and starring in the SPY KIDS FILM. Not knowing they would continue their legacy teaching and building kids up. AABCD Dance Studio started off as a small company with just 4 dancers, which then grew to 7. (This Fierce 7) group would also perform all around San Antonio TX , won multiple Dance competitions and had the privilege of Back up Dancing for many artists. Believe it or not Practices were held dancing in their kitchen, to a recreational center, to their back yard and moving between multiple studios, until they found the place they now call home.

AABCD has grown since then and now offers multiple classes for kids ages 4-up. AABCD has grown to build into a successful company. Multiple Dance Choreographers and a lot of different opportunities.
